Sorry for the cheesy pun in the title (sorry, not sorry – love cheese). Once again I’m starting this blog post on a morning commute, this has started to become a trend for me, given all the other stuff I got going on, but I find it therapeutic. It’s like offloading before heading in to the office. That said, today’s post is nothing heavy. The festive season has made me loosen my purse strings and here’s a few things I’ve picked up.
Cluse Watches, need I say more? Their watches are all over Instagram and YouTube, so in the Black Friday sales I decided to check out the site for myself and I wasn’t disappointed. I featured a few of my favourites in a recent post, here. I think these watches are super versatile and at this price point I think I’ll be after one in silver and rose gold very soon.
Here I’ve styled up my watch with a lovely French Connection jumper (here). It’s really soft, but as it’s like minus degrees outside I’ll likely still wear a long sleeve top under it to give warmth from layers. Really loving French Connection at the moment, especially they’re party dresses.
My skirt (here) is actually from Dorothy Perkins as are my boots (here). I used to work for this brand as a teen, but I’ve not really looked at their clothes for a long time. I’ll give DP one thing, they are really good for shoes. This outfit I feel works well with both and gives me a nice winter pub lunch kinda vibe. The boots are so comfortable – in my post
T Re: Cyber Weekend I featured the Aldo Sailor boots, when they arrive they were a bit too tight and the over the knee part was like thigh high – too high for me so I took them back. These ones from DP are perfect and I bought them in two colours – linked below.
I think Cluse watches will make good Christmas gifts, especially if you can nab one on promotion like I did here.
What I’m wearing:
Jumper – French Connection and still on sale here
Skirt – Foroyhy Perkins here
