Well, it’s all in the title really…
I picked up the new Benefit BADgal BANG Mascara. It’s supposed to be lightweight and volumising and I’ll definitely give it that. It has some kind of aero-particle that acts like fibres that attach to your lashes with each stroke. The result being thicker longer lashes. This is definitely buildable and I found three coats gave me the look I wanted.
The above aside, I think that you need to be really careful when applying it as there can be a bit of clumping. The aim, for me, is to get it evenly distributed. I don’t want it to be thick at the base and spindly at the end. So for me it’s going to take a little practice. I think I prefer bigger brushes, something that can grip and extend them. My lashes are quite curly so I found it difficult to swipe the wand right to the end without getting mascara on my lids, maybe it’s just me!
I’ve found using the L’Oréal Volume Million Lashes at the end to separate them helped. Overall, I like the lengthening factor of this Mascara and when properly applied I think the results are great.
Did you get BADgal BANG for you buck? Let me know in the comments.
