A year ago today , while on holiday in Portugal, I started my blog. What an adventure it’s been. I won’t spend too long discussing why I started blogging, you can read that in my very first post, but what I would say is that I was inspired by other bloggers and YouTubers. To hear other peoples take on something you want to try whether it be a new look or a makeup tutorial, there is something very fulfilling about being able to help others inadvertently through your content. This is why I continue to do it. My hope is that with time and practice I’ll get better and better and if only one one person takes something from it then all the better.
Given that my blog is supposed to be style focused I thought I’d outline what I loved most in June and add a few items that are very much on my wish list. I talked about getting to know your colour palette before and I really need to do a proper post detailing how I figured mine out. For now, this summer I’ve been focusing mainly on 4 colours for most of my outfits – sky/powder blue, mustard, cream/beige and black.
I just love the colour combos you can create with these. I’m not sure if I’ll change this up during the autumn season, perhaps replace the blue with a deeper tone, but I think these 4 colours pretty much define my style at the moment.
