Given that we’ve recently had some of the coldest weather many have seen in a long time, especially for London, it may be difficult to think of warmer days. I am so done with winter! Yes, the recent snow has been picturesque and I’m sure I’m not the only one to delight over a snow day or two, but winter, be gone already!
There’s something about spring that spells fresh start. I didn’t really do resolutions for New Year this time, but in the past, March is around the time when I’d start feeling crappy about having failed to do what I’d set out at the start.
Anyway! We must persevere and as I take stock of the year so far. I am eager and excited to make the coming months count and Lord knows I feel like we’ve been through so much in the first two months of the year.
I will be focusing on fitness, growing our removal company, being more consistent with my blog and socials and being organised, aside from my day job. If you know me, the whole organised thing is quite funny. As of right now, I have ordered flowers to be delivered to a friend only to realise afterward that she moved months ago. Well they wouldn’t be goals if I’d already achieved them, right?
As far as fitness, I’m excited to start attending a new Virgin Active from Monday, well today when you read this. To aid in the motivation, I picked up some new gym gear. I’ve found that, it doesn’t matter where or how you choose to get fit. The point is to get moving and keep moving. Not only is it good for your heart, I’m a firm believer it’s good for your mental health. I see this as good old me time, time to get away and just think or not think. I want to focus on me more and what better way to start!
What’s your spring this Spring? How are you keeping yourself motivated? Let me know in the comments.
