  • The Not Cycling Short

    Well theoretically you can wear any shorts for cycling so the title is a little bit of a misnomer. That said, I’m basically talking about shorts that are not of the Lycra, spandex, velodrome variety. Cycling shorts, to me, they’re like marmite- either you love them or you hate them. Personally, I can’t stand marmite and the same goes for this trend. Don’t get me wrong, some of the outfits I’ve seen put together look fabulous. Especially ones with a blazer and a belt bag, but that’s as far as it goes.

    This spring summer, the Bermuda short reigns supreme for me. They come in so many varities, the longer and straighter legged city short, through to paper-bag high waisted and flared around the thighs. The new shorts trend is super flattering and little bit more palatable to the modest.
