  • Winter Coat Trends

Tis the season of the coat and this week I’m doing my best to catalogue some of my favourite autumn/ winter warmers, the best of 2019 winter coat trends. As always, click the images to shop!

    Teddy/Borg coats

These were big towards the end of last year and have made another appearance this autumn. Let’s face it, it’s cold and anything fluffy is likely to get a look in this time of year. Go for a single breasted style for something a big more casual. Perhaps you want something a bit more chic, in which case, belted is your best bet.

    The oversized puffer

To me these are just super cool. The coat is your statement so I would probably do an all black outfit with some heeled high knee boots- especially if you’re on the shorter side.

    Faux Fur Coats

Another big hit last winter, this kind of coat is the ultimate luxe in my opinion. To be on trend this season, look for white fur and pair with white boots! Or dont, no one says you have to follow trends.

    Quilted

You cant go wrong with a traditional quilted coat. These are also practical if you get a good quality down filled one. Call it an investment piece, they are certainly a timeless style.

    Leather look

Whether you go for faux leather or the real thing, theres something about this style that is really chic. Also, lovely in faux exotic skins like snake and lizard.
