Happy Sunday people! I’m currently in Birmingham for a long weekend and I don’t know, there’s something about coming home that completely centres me. Suddenly the million and one things I feel like I’m drowning in, at home in London, fade away and I regain my focus.
I was wondering what to post and following a good scroll through my recent Instagram content, I recognised a love for chunky knits and skirts. I think the silhouette it creates is very feminine and flattering. I never really got in to the whole athleisure trend, can I even call it a trend anymore? It’s been around for ages and probably a style choice all on its own at this point. Anyway, it’s too casual for me. I much prefer a classic look!
[print_responsive_thumbnail_slider id=”14″]I keep trying to come up with ways to define my style, it’s definitely chic but also classic and casual. For me the chunky knit, on top of a structured skirt, adds the right amount of casual. I usually like to wear leather, denim or some other kind of contrasting material on the bottom. The different textures are where the chic comes in and the mix often leads to a more expensive looking outfit.
