  • Monochrome Outfits to Wear Now

Happy new week people. Today I’m talking about a current trend that isn’t really a trend at all. Since the beginning of time monochrome has been in style and I’m glad it’s regaining some focus. There’s no need to wear all black either, now and for the season ahead neutral tones are getting a good look in, but you can definitely add in pops of colour.

Shoes: LK Bennett | Trousers: Boden | Cardigan: &OtherStories | Coat: John Lewis

I love cornflower blue, or whatever you would call this colour. If you know the actual name, let me know in the comments. Perfect for brunch on a crisp winter afternoon or to take in to spring without the coat.

Shoes: Carvela | Funnel Jumper: &OtherStories | Trench Coat: Yumi @ House of Fraser | Jeans: Arket

Cream tones are big for spring and they suit just about every skin tone. Drawing from one colour palette seems to add additional style, elegance and sophistication. Ultimately your outfit just looks more expensive. The heels make this one- patent mules have to be a style staple! I would button the cardigan and tuck it in the jeans with a matching belt to cinch the waist.

Shoes: Charles & Keith | Dress: &Otherstories | Bag: Gucci | Hair Ties: Ted Baker

I love this colour and if I could have the Gucci bag it would be all my Christmas’s at once. Definitely one to take in to spring as I’d wear this dress and mule combo without tights. You could even throw on a pair of loafers and wear it to the office. Then you have a nice casual look that transitions from day to night. Super cute addition with the hair tie, another trend for spring.

Charles & Keith shoes are really doing it for me at the moment. Can’t wait to snap up a few pairs.

Jacket: Arket | T-shirt: Arket | Skirt: Topshop | Boots: Topshop

Now if you know me, you’ll know I hate pink! That said, this blush tone looks like it could quite flattering. This is another nod to the none-neutral neutral, ha!

Let me know if you like any of my choices. What colour are you excited to try in monochrome?
