  • Over the Knee Boots

The count down to baby bubs is well and truly on. There really isn’t much point me getting too many new clothes for the next couple of months, so I’ve turned my attention to shoes and accessories. Winter officially started back in December, and unless climate change has something to say about it, we are headed into the coldest part of the year here in the UK. To me, nothing says winter warmer like a pair of over the knee boots.

I’ve always been fond of this style of boot. I have high heeled leather pair that you may have seen in an Instagram post or two. Then there’s the suedette pointed stiletto in dark beige.

Recently though, I’ve been drawn to the mid heeled variety. Last weekend, I bit the bullet and picked up a pair Steve Madden Isaac boots in the sale. At the time of writing this they still have stock and and are 40% off. Here’s a LINK if you want to check them out.

Anyway, it’s the versatility as well as the comfort that I’m after! They look great worn with bare legs and a short skirt. I especially like that whole clueless vibe going around at the moment with the skirt cord sets and soft knit roll neck jumpers.

As is the trend of this season, it’s all about modest fashion and the midi skirts and dresses. Through on a pair of over the knee boots under the dress or skirt et voila, Parisian chic.

You can also go for the classic style of wearing them over jeans. I still love this look when paired with a blazer and nice chunky scarf.
