You know what? It’s really ok, to love your own company that is. I know I certainly do. Don’t get me wrong, I’m as social as the next person, but it’s nice to just get away and have time to yourself.
Living in London, it’s easy to feel crowded, surrounded even somewhat overwhelmed. Between work, home, friends and social media, where do I fit in? I do my best to carve out time for myself by myself. Whether it’s going shopping on my own, taking a walk on my my lunch break at work, or my favourite – sitting in Starbucks! It’s in those quiet moments that you have your best thoughts and can be your most creative.
Today I found a random little community garden on Royal Hill in Greenwich. It was so peaceful and as you can see the flowers were definitely beautiful. I started this post a while ago, but it made me remember how nice it is to find tranquility and peace.
I needed a place to shoot my outfit. I love this dress from Hobbs. You can dress it up with heels and down with flats, but I think I want to get a pair of chunky boots to give the outfit more of a rough edge. It’s made of 100% Linen and lined in cotton. I’m only 5ft 3 , so when it arrived, I felt it was a bit long as it came past my knee, so I had it altered and I think it now falls perfectly just above the knee.
My bag was a bargain from Accessorize, it goes with so much and was a staple on my holiday to Portugal in June I’m sure it will feature in my trip to Barcelona next month.
-It’s so horrible what’s happened there and so many places now… my heart goes out to all those who have lost loved ones.-
