What an eventful day, well for me anyway. I woke up to beautiful sunshine and let’s face it, recently that has been a bit of a novelty – it’s bloody August! So, let’s be thankful for the small things in life, here here!
If you follow me on Instagram and twitter you would have seen my post that today was the last day of my relationship with Talula.
Meet Talula… she was my Peugeot 108 until this afternoon when I returned her to car heaven to be reborn in to someone else’s life, ha!
Forgive the dramatics, can you tell my life really isn’t that interesting? So, I swapped her out for a bigger and better model – the Peugeot 2008 Crossover. I love Peugeot this is going to be my 4th one and I think I’ll stick until I can have my Range Rover (please God, one day soon, please).
Immediately after picking up my new car, I drove to Birmingham where I will be spending this fine bank holiday weekend. I’m not back at work until Wednesday and I plan to make the most of it. Lots of rest and relaxation with a spot of life planning. So many things to buy! Shopping in Birmingham is always amazing. I don’t know, the shops just seem to match my style and maybe it’s me, but the prices are cheaper than in London. My makeup bag definitely needs refilling and I’ve been doing my research. I’ll be sure to review the stuff I buy and let you know if it’s any good.
Most of all, I really want to spend lots of family time with my family. Living in London, I don’t get to see them as often as I should, but I’m here until Wednesday and lots of family fun is planned which I’ll be sure to keep you posted about along the way.
