I’ve always loved makeup and going forward I want to experiment with more. That said, let’s see where I’m starting from….
My main aim is to look like I have flawless skin. As we all know that starts with a good foundation. This is a point I’ve never skimped on. I used to be a MAC or nothing type of girl from the studio fix liquid to the powder, but now I love the Estée Lauder – Double Wear foundation – I’m wearing Amber Honey.
Then I conceal (mainly just under my eyes) and highlight with the LA Girl Pro concealers in Beautiful Bronze and Warm Honey.
As for contour, I use the Sleek Face Contour Kit in Dark 886, but I think I’m ready to find a new contour pallet, this one isn’t dramatic enough and if I put more on, my face looks dirty. I’m thinking to find a cream based one.
On my eyebrows, which I got done yesterday, see my post T Re: Brows for my BlinkBrowBar experience…. anywho, I’ve used the Maybelline Brow Satin pencil in Dark Brown, this is by far the easiest brow tool I’ve come across, it has a handy smugger sponge for blending – we want to fill our brows girls, not draw them on!
Now my favourite aspect of my face is my eyes. This is why I got laser eye surgery, check out the post T Re: Laser Eye Surgery, I didn’t want to wear glasses. I always use eyeliner under the eye and on the lid, it just makes them look a bit bigger. Then I try to go heavy on mascara – I’ve used the Maybelline Colossal Volume Express for years, but in the last year or so the Maxfactor Glamour Extentions, which I think I might buy more regularly.
