  • The gym has been cancelled, here’s what to do

Crop top & leggings, both from I Saw it First

On my mind today is the importance of keeping fit. About 3 weeks ago I rejoined the gym and after 2 sessions, I realised going to the very public gym is probably not a good idea given the current climate. That said, after having Oscar 6 weeks ago, getting back in shape is increasingly important to me and now more than ever we should try to be healthy.

With this in mind I went back to an old favourite, Fitbit Coach. It’s an app. When I first started using it, years ago, it was called Fitstar, but I think Fitbit bought the brand. Anyway, I love this app because it focuses on HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts. Depending which program you choose works can be done in less than 15 mins or take the best part of an hour. I think a little bit of exercise everyday is good for the heart and my mental health. This app makes a personal trainer style workout accessible to everyone. Yes, it is subscription based, but having signed up yesterday, the first 3 months are free and then I think it’s £7.99 a month.

Given that physically going to the gym has been cancelled for the foreseeable, I’m getting off my bum and doing it indoors. Now, all I need is new workout gear.

    Here’s some Inspo!
