It’s my grandmother’s 90th birthday in a couple of weeks so I’ve been on the hunt for a new dress. I came across this Forever New pleated mini dress on House of Fraser, unfortunately I wasn’t sure yuck enough as it sold out before I could get my parcel. I looked for other dresses but just couldn’t get it out my head and it seems to be sold out everywhere.
I was so glad when I found it on Beales but of course they don’t have my size. So naturally I’ve bought it 3 sizes too big and am hoping for the best. I’m thinking worst case I can get it tailored.
I hope it’s worth all the fuss! I love the covered buttons and the high neckline. I’m not usually one for colour, especially pink, but this shade of blush really appeals. It’s also made of recycled polyester, which triggers my guilt button just a little bit less, ha!
I’ve never shopped on Beales before but I also loved this square neckline cord dress. Thankfully it was available on my size.
Both dresses are quite timeless and that’s definitely something I pay attention to now. I want pieces I can wear and wear again.
Sharing the links now as both are like to be totally sold out in a minute.
