Once again I’ve left it too late. Father’s Day is on Sunday and as of this morning I had no gift arranged. This is not exactly a new situation, it seems to happen every year. I procrastinate and procrastinate and then suddenly it’s a few days before the big day.
It dawned on me that I do this on purpose. It’s like subconsciously I know I can get something last minute. So this morning I did what I always do, I rushed online to Moonpig.com for my card and Amazon.com for my gift. My gift has now been secured and I’m assured it will get there by tomorrow! Wow, my dad will actually receive his gift early this year. Believe it or not, I’ve actually left it later than this before, but as a member of amazon prime I know I can usually get something on next day delivery. It got me thinking, why not write a post on my top Father’s Day gift picks currently on Amazon.

Tech
If your Dad is tech savvy, Amazon have practically every gadget under the sun. If your Dad is anything like mine (of a certain age and recently discovered Youtube) then headphones are likely to be a godsend. Or, how about a proper webcam for all those Zoom meetings that have been going on.
Grooming
The traditional Farther’s Day gift, you can really go wrong with a nice cologne. That said, now we are all spending more time at home, why night get Dad in to a bit of habitual grooming. Loving the Burt’s Bees set as a bit of a starter kit.

Food & Drink
When in doubt, get a nice tipple. Need I say more?
Gardening & Outdoors
It’s definitely not just Dad’s in the shed at the bottom of the garden anymore. Lock down life has dragged the green finger out of all of us. As such garden gifts are likely to be appreciated by most people at the moment. On the brights side, if you gift it now you can always borrow it back when you need it, or better still invite Dad round for a spot of gardening once lock down is over, ha!
Style
I’ve purposely not featured any socks here, but I think these are some cool out the box style items great for fathers day.

Thank you for this post. I haven’t struggled for Father’s Day as it isn’t a big thing in our house. However, it’s my partners birthday coming up and with lockdown and everything I was struggling to think of what to get him. Thanks for the tips.
