Happy new week everyone. I hope you’re all safe and well. Today, I want to talk about a rediscovery. I previously wrote a post on the L’Oréal Pure Clay Mask range, but I decided to do an update since discovering the L’Oreal Pure Clay Soothing Mask. I can’t believe how excited I am about this product. Read on to find out why.
Since pregnancy, my skin has changed. I’ve always had oily skin but I’m not dealing with sensitivity as well. When I was pregnant I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis. It’s a bit like eczema but more of a rash skin irritation caused by random things I might come in to contact with, but also an allergy to dairy. Things like soaps and washing powder can cause a flare up. Read this post for more on this skin condition.
Style and Beauty Hit List
I’ve had to relearn how to look after my skin. Before, I could use harsh soaps and toners, but now they just inflame my skin. I was going through a bad reaction, one that went on for days and days when I decided to look for something that would sooth my skin but also have the normal cleansing properties you’d expect from a face mask. That’s when I came across the L’Oréal Pure Clay Soothing Mask.
The main soothing property of this L’Oreal pure clay mask is the Mallow Flower extract, which is not only calming to the skin it is even used for stomach and bladder problems. The other active ingredients include three pure clays. First is Kaolin, it absorbs impurities in the akin and excess sebum. Sebum is an oily substance produced by the skin and for me the cause of my oily skin type. Next up is Montmorillonite, to eliminate imperfections and finally Ghassoul to clarify your complexion.

If my skin feels irritated and sometimes just because, I’ll apply this mask and the next day my skin is clearer and feels more comfortable. As far as I am concerned this mask is a must in my skin care arsenal.

I have got the L’Oréal charcoal face mask one, the only problem with it is it takes ages to get off and can stain sometimes. It is so annoying. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this one.

Oh that’s a shame. I’ve had the charcoal one in the past and quite liked it, but I do prefer the soothing mask. Thanks for commenting
