Blouse, Richard Allan x H&M | Knit Skirt, H&M | Bag, Ralph Lauren | Shoes, New Look | Sunglasses, Guess

I discovered something last week, I have a love for scarf prints! Not sure how I didn’t realise this before, but last week when I popped in to H&M on my lunch break the fact that I was drawn to everything psychedelic was a huge sign. I think there is just something a little bit more elegant about these prints. They say luxury without being garish.

It wasn’t until I got home that I realised that I was picking up pieces from the Richard Allan collection. Allan is a designer who became well known in the 60s for his silk scarves that inspired so many and is likely part of the reason we can define a scarf print today.

His daughter Cate Allan has created the new collection that brings some of the best of her fathers prints to beyond the humble square scarf. I’ve gone through online and curated my favourites from the collection. Would love to know what bits you like most.

Some examples beyond the Richard Allan collection. To keep the look even more on trend for the season, wear a top and bottom in the same pattern for the ultimate 60s vibe. I’m also loving long skirts with high knee boots!
