Happy Friday people. I just had to drop this post as I’ve found an affordable brand with pieces to my taste. Stradivarius are a Spanish brand and owned by the makers of Zara. I am in no way affiliated to them, unfortunately, but when I came across their site whilst looking for some shoot day/ transition to autumn bits, I found myself practically adding the whole site to my basket.
I think the prices are just a little lower than Zara, perhaps closer to Zara basics. What I love is that the pieces are good quality. Also the site is curated so you don’t need to spend hours scrolling. I’ve been wanting to find a shop where I can quickly have a glance at their new in section, without it taking up a whole morning. The colour pallet is also to my taste a lot of earth tones including cream and tan.
As I mentioned, the idea was to select a couple of pieces that would help me transition in to the autumn season. With this in mind, I picked up two skirts, I’ve linked them in the pictures below. One is a blue denim skirt. I love the high waist and I plan to pair it with a satin Cami and a belt to cinch my waist. Some peep toe sock boots will also keep the outfit young and fresh.
As for the second skirt, I went for the tan corduroy mini skirt. Now I know, mini skirt and cold weather…..hmm, I don’t know about you, but I love a mini with thick tights in the autumn/winter months. I plan to do a more preppy style with this one, if the checked bomber style cardigan I bought from forever21 arrives before Sunday, unlikely. It’s my fault anyway as I should have checked the shipping which said 2-5 business days. Damnit!
