London is a busy city, everyone going back and forth about their daily business. If you know me that you know I love the weekend, especially the ones where nothing is planned.
I’ll wake up in the morning then head straight for the shower. I’ll spend time washing my hair before loading it up with conditioner and putting on a shower cap and head scarf so my hair can get a nice long steam treatment. Makeup doesn’t get much of a look in unless I’m heading out. Even then it’s minimal, just some concealer, mascara, blush and lipstick. I’ll then throw on something comfortable to wear, essential for any good lazy weekend.
My weekend go to outfit of the moment is definitely this all black number. I picked up this jumper from River Island a few weeks ago and I’ve pretty much lived in it ever since. It’s super soft and baggy so perfect for hiding the weekend fry-up baby that is my stomach on a Saturday or Sunday morning.
The next essential is black leggings, who wants to be in the house all day in jeans anyway. H&M has to be my go to for basics like this. To me this is the perfect in the house outfit, you don’t feel or look like a complete tramp, but at the same time the outfit isn’t rigid so I can go about my weekend chores in complete comfort.
As for popping out to run errands, I throw on my faux leather jacket and a pair of over the knee boots to give some added style then I’m off out.
I definitely want an actual leather jacket. I wear them so often I want one that will last. I’m hoping to trade up this one over Christmas.
