So if you live in the UK, and judging by the memes on the socials, even if you don’t, everyone knows sunshine is rarer than gold dust in this country! Ok, so that is a slight exaggeration, but that’s what it feels like.
I live in London and this week after a particularly long and cold winter, we got our first mildly warm day on Saturday. I of course headed out to meet a friend. We charity shopped, had lunch at Bills and then stopped for a cuppa at a lovely tea shop called Yumchaa. Basically just a lovely day out!
It’s currently Friday and we have again seen balmy conditions both today and yesterday. I can’t help talking about the weather there is something about the way it makes you feel and everything just feels happier.
It’s been so nice to put on something a bit more summery. I have a thing for wrap dresses at the moment so for me, this little number was perfect, here. It was a steal from ASOS at only £18 and I’ve been dying to put it on for over the past few weeks.
I bought it in a size 10 and it’s quite snug on my arms, but otherwise fits perfectly. I wore a long black fitted camisole underneath. To me this is so important. I don’t want to be giggling everywhere, good underwear helps create a smoother silhouette. Finally I love the tie waist for added curves.
