  • Blazer Outfits for Spring

You may have seen on my Instagram stories recently, if you haven’t you should follow me there, I posted a couple of blazers I picked up in my spring mini haul. I say spring haul, but there was also a very un-spring-like teddy coat thrown in there as well. Also, I’m not sure how many items count as a haul these days… so perhaps spring haul is the wrong term, ha! Anyway, I picked up a couple of blazers recently and styled them up for my shoot day at the weekend. Let’s just say I’m now obsessed with blazer outfits!

Blazer, Topshop | Cami, Nastygal – similar | Leather-look trousers, Lipsy – similar | Court Shoes, Zara

    Blazer, Topshop | Top, H&M – similar | Jeans, M&S | Trainers, Superga | Watch, Cluse

Both are from Topshop and are slightly oversized. That’s the natural fit, I bought my usual size 10 (which I’m proud to say I still fit after giving birth 5 weeks ago) so no need to size up. I’m also really in to monochrome at the moment so all black and all beige blazer outfits for spring are right up my street right now.

I really feel like I’ve found my style in these looks. They work casually but are easy to dress up with a pair of heels. For now, while it’s still cold outside, blazers make a great layering piece. Through on a turtle neck and a vest and you might not even need a coat on some of those milder winter day here in the UK. As far as blazer outfits for spring, think camis and t-shirts.

With this type of look, it’s really your footwear that makes the difference between something more glam and an outfit that’s more casual. I’m currently desperate for a pair of Air Force 1 Nike style trainers. I think they are super cute with the whole blazer and jeans look. For the spring they will go really well with light colour palettes or how about a nice black and white contrast.

For my style, I especially love teaming a blazer with leather look trousers and court shoes. Nothing says boss babe like a pair of pointed toe stilettos! I picked up a mock snake effect pair from Zara and I just know they will get the wear in the new season.

I’d really love to see your blazer outfits as well so tag me on Instagram with your looks.
