Hey lovelies, happy Monday. Things are about to get a lot more consistent around here. I’ll be posting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday on Style, Beauty and Lifestyle respectively. The main focus of the blog will still be style, but style encompasses more than just what you wear. This week, I thought I’d kick things off with another trend I’m loving at the moment. It is yet another throwback to the 90s and cute-to-boot, I’m talking about the padded headband trend of course!
The temperature is rising and headbands are a very chic and practical way to keep your hair out of your face. They have made a return for summer 2019, so I’ve rounded up a few ideas at varying price points. To give an even more modern twist to this trend, choose patterns of the moment such as leopard, florals, tie-die or plain and simple neutral tones. You can also lay with fabrics. I love the beige rafia ones in particular, but I’ve also seen a lot of satin and silk. Headbands are so versatile and would look great with a t-shirt and jeans, but just as well with a ditsy print summer dress.
